Our favorite Hollywood couple – well, not exactly… Neither are actors, so not exactly a Hollywood couple, but definitely our favorite celebrity couple looked gorgeous, as always, at the Vanity Fair Oscars party last night. Victoria Beckham looked glamorous in one of her own creations – a belted gray strapless gown from her Fall Collection, a large emerald cocktail ring, dark nails and the sexiest accessory ever – David Beckham in Dior! Posh Spice posted a home picture of her getting ready on Twitter before the event in her own bathroom (which includes some sexy black and white photos of her husband on the right!)

Look-of-the-Day

In celebration of Bastille Day, we had to pick our all-time favorite French girl, Marion Cotillard for July 14th! Here, the brunette beauty was wearing a lovely light grey belted suit by Christian Dior to announce the Bike in Style Challenge winners in New York. Her funky shoes were designed by the controversial John Galliano for Dior (the label who Cotillard is the face of). The strappy silver stilettos have little fertility goddess figurines for heels… which must have worked, because the French star recently welcomed her first child with long-time lover Guillaume Canet! Always elegant, even when she has an edge – Viva la France!

Samantha Jones has been the small screen’s favorite sex kitten ever since Sex and the City first aired in 1998. The show was so popular, it was turned into a movie where the girls still dressed like stars! Here, Kim Cattrall is buzzing like a sexy bumblebee as her alter-ego in yellow and black. The jacket with jagged kerfs is Thierry Mugler, the pencil skirt is Herve Leger, the silver peep-toe stilettos are Dior, the bag is Hunting Season and the sunglasses are by Baby Phat. Cattrall is over 50 here, but still looks like one seductive working girl!

On this day in history, the US won the “Banana War” with Europe. Reducing a trade disagreement between America and the EU to a shallow style inspiration, we picked our favorite banana-colored dress- Kate Hudson’s Dior gown. This one-shouldered yellow sari was created by the now extremely controversial designer John Galliano. Proving once again that Hudson looks just divine in this shade, the actress wore it to a 2007 Dior Haute-Couture Fashion Show at the Chateau de Versailles in Paris, looking as fresh as a piece of fruit.
Look-of-the-Day
The United States may have a fashion icon in the making in their White House, but France’s First Lady is a former model. (We can’t imagine why the French have a reputation for being so glamorous!) Carla Bruni, the Italian-born, French-raised fashionista is seen here in a bright purple Dior coat. She wore it during a 2008 diplomatic meeting with then-British First Lady, Sarah Brown. We were inspired by our sophisticated friend, Danielle, who was sporting a similarly chic look this weekend. Although, we didn’t get to take a picture of her, so Carla had to fill in instead! This shade is particularly flattering on brunettes, and since both of the stylish women are half-Italian, it’s no wonder they both look so beautiful in violet. Their eye-catching outerwear is reminiscent of a crocus in bloom – seeing this pop of purple in March (in the garden, or the streets of Manhattan) is the first sign that winter is leaving us. Au revoir snowy weather!
